Many applicants discover at the last minute that they are ineligible for MHADA Pune Lottery 2026. This guide walks you through every eligibility criterion — check these before the application window opens.
Mandatory Eligibility Criteria
1. Age — Minimum 18 Years
You must be at least 18 years old at the time of application. There is no upper age limit.
2. Maharashtra Domicile Certificate
A valid Maharashtra Domicile Certificate is mandatory. It must prove that you have lived in Maharashtra for a minimum of 15 years within the last 20 years. You can apply for this certificate at your local Tehsildar office.
3. No Existing Residential Property in PMC Limits
This is the most common disqualification. Neither you, nor your spouse, nor your minor children should own any residential property within PMC (Pune Municipal Corporation) limits. Property owned in other cities (Mumbai, Nashik, Aurangabad) does not disqualify you for the Pune lottery.
4. Valid PAN Card and Aadhaar Card
Both cards must be valid and linked to an active mobile number. You will need these for online registration on the MHADA portal.
5. Declared Income for FY 2024–25
You must be able to prove your annual income through either an ITR or a Tehsildar income certificate. For married applicants, combined family income is considered.
